Once upon a time, everyone in America made their own catsup.  This catsup was a wholesome mixture of ingredients.  Not overly sweet, with a hint of spice, and made from home grown tomatoes,  it was used on everything from the morning omelets to the evenings steaks.  Eventually, Americans stopped making their own, buying the mass produced and cheap catsups from Uber-Corporations such as Heinz.  These products, saturated with corn syrup, bear little resemblance to the catsup of our forefathers.

Here at Campagnola Farms, we produce a traditional catsup using tomatoes grown in our garden.  They are available at our farm stand at the Westford Farmer’s Market and also year round at Sweet Clover Market.  I also make my own taco sauce and salsa, but I currently do not produce a surplus of these products.  I am also attempting to perfect a BBQ sauce recipe, but that’s still a work in progress.
